Recently, I saw a news report on dirty practices that are used by unethical plumbers. This got me to thinking about a few things that may help you in the future when choosing your plumber.
Make sure your plumber is licensed and trained!
Licensing says that the plumber who comes to your home knows the basics of plumbing. Don’t assume that every plumber advertising his services is a licensed plumber. Some plumbers are licensed by the state, others by the counties that they work in.
If you want to verify your plumber’s credentials, you can check with your local city hall or chamber of commerce. They should be able to direct you to the appropriate source for a list of licensed plumbers in your area.
Or as all ways you can call us at Better Rate Plumbing (281) 895-3838. We are licensed in the State of Texas (License #MPL 39424) and each of our emergency service technicians carry a copy of their individual license with them at all times.
Make sure your plumber has a clean background!
Don’t assume that every plumber has a clean record. As we see our economy recovering and more and more people are going back to work, the demand for licensed plumbers has increased. Many companies are trying to meet the demand of the consumer by over looking criminal records for the sake of profit.
At Better Rate Plumbing, we do a full background check on all emergency services technicians. You can have confidence in who is working at your home and around your loved ones. Call us today for a free quote: (281) 895-3838
